Leonardo DiCaprio. Ah, where to begin with that dreamboat. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, I’m sure you know of (and maybe even love) Leo. The 90’s heartthrob actor managed to weasel his way into almost every iconic nineties film, ranging from Titanic, Romeo and Juliet, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, and many more. He was the man on every magazine and tabloid site, with rumors circulating about his dating life, marital status, favorite type of cheese, and any other question to get the nitty gritty out of him. Interestingly enough, almost twenty years later, Leo has returned to the tabloid spotlight scene; however, this time it’s for something like never before. Currently, rumors are circulating around Leo’s illusive (and questionable) dating history, particularly involving women under the age of 25. As if avoiding the black plague itself, once the 47-year-old actor and film producer discovers that his latest beau is turning 25, he bolts. Literally.

It all started in 2000, when Leonardo DiCaprio began dating supermodel Gisele Bündhcen. The couple dated for 5 years, breaking up when DiCaprio was 30 and Bündhcen was 24. Normal enough of an age gap, right? Bündhcen was 24 when they broke up, starting the cycle of the “Pre-25” up-and-dump. After their split in 2005, he began dating Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli. Starting the relationship Refaeli was 20, and DiCaprio 30. While it wasn’t the most egregious age gap in Hollywood, many did find it slightly odd when a 30 year old man began dating a freshly turned 20 year old. However, the relationship continued on for six years. The couple later split when Refaeli was (to the surprise of no-one) 25. Later after their on and off relationship, DiCaprio shared a short five-month relationship with Blake Lively, with the relationship ending with Lively being 24. After Lively, it was Erin Heatherton in 2012. The 10 month long relationship ended when Heatherton was 23, and Leo DiCaprio at 37. Alesia Riabenkova was rumored to be in a relationship with “Leonardo Kidnaprio” when she was 21, engaging in a relationship with a man 17 years her senior. You’d think that for being one of the hottest and highest paid celebrities of his time, DiCaprio would find no problem with getting with a woman his age. And Leonardo, if you’re out there reading this, please do not send a cease and desist to me. I’m only 17.
