In need of a new study scene? CCA students are more than acquainted with the stress of studying, and finding a study location that fits their needs can be difficult. Maybe the library is too quiet and isolated or the cafe on the corner is bustling with too many people. San Diego possesses many great places for a good study session.
Cafes are always a great, dependable option. Grabbing a drink or a snack and getting to work is super convenient. Take the stress off with a coffee at Parakeet Cafe, Philz Coffee, or Café Vida. These nearby cafes offer comfortable indoor seating with delicious drinks and pastries. Closer to the beach, Cafe Del Mar, Kini Koffee, and Naked Cafe are lovely locations to enjoy the ocean breeze with your homework. Besides the delicious food, more collaborative studiers love the cafes for working with a study buddy.
Maybe cafes aren’t your scene, and that’s okay! Many students enjoy a quieter location like the Pacific Highlands Ranch Library or the Carmel Valley Public Library. These libraries offer a distraction-free atmosphere with computers for public use. Libraries are the perfect academic-friendly locations and are great options for enabling a focused and motivated mind. Similarly, public parks with comfortable seating and tables, like Solana Ranch or Del Mar Trails, are great for getting fresh air, putting on headphones, and locking in on Calculus.
When it comes to studying, location can make or break your study session. As a student, it is important to recognize which environment you thrive best in. To get the most successful studying experience, make sure to switch your study spot up, take breaks, get enough sleep, and come to these places with a positive mindset!
