The thrilling season of Senior’d Out has officially begun! Whether you anxiously prepped for weeks or ignored your email inbox, here are some tips and tricks to win your way to the golden Senior Passport.

Juggling between defense and offense is stressful! Being the hunted and on the hunt is a nerve-racking game to play. If your floatie is unprotected, stay on the defense. Be cognizant of your surroundings and new faces around you. Are there new participants in your clubs? New fans in the stands? New followers on social media? Take note of anyone possibly pursuing you. The paranoia is real. To avoid coming into contact with your stalker, there are some things to keep in mind as you manage your way around campus.

First, switch up your parking spot or pick up/drop off location. Although the parking lot is a safe space, your journey there is not. Stay tactical and alternate the gates you enter and leave from. Additionally, do not trust anyone. Although having alliances can be beneficial, do not be too trusting. It is easy for someone to lie about their target or cover for a friend. Finally, inform your family of suspicious people or cars outside your house. Using your siblings as decoys can be helpful in the long run too.

Creating a strong game plan is crucial when hunting for your target. Without one, your position in the game will be at a standstill. Finding your target’s class schedule, friend groups, sports, clubs, or other extracurriculars is easier than you think. There are several things to take advantage of to catch your target.

One great feature to use to your advantage is the CCA Athletics rosters and club pages. You can find tryouts, games, and other sporting events on the calendar through the CCA Athletics website. To avoid any filming issues, pursue your target with a friend who is filming. This will prevent your target from being out of the frame of your video. And most importantly, social media is your friend. By stalking their posts, you can discover their friend groups in their highlights and comments. Look into the clubs or conservatory accounts they follow and possibly participate in.

Senior’d Out is an excellent way to put your detective skills to the test. Stay vigilant and creative with your game plan. Keep up with your emails and game updates to avoid risking your position in the game. But most importantly, have fun! Good luck to the competing seniors this year!
