Romance is not dead! Although breakup season seemingly spikes in winter, beloved English actor Tom Holland and breathtakingly beautiful actress/singer Zendaya have finally put a ring on it! This “It” couple debuted their engagement at the Golden Globes this January, with Zendaya wearing a very humbling rock on her ring finger. The pair started their on-screen romance in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, which quickly became a franchise with Spider-Man: Far from Home in 2019. They played lovers MJ and Peter Parker, sharing their first kiss in the second movie. Despite undeniable chemistry, they denied romantic rumors during filming and even dated other people. Zendaya dated her Euphoria costar Jacob Elordi from 2019 to 2020 but they split up for unknown reasons. As for Holland, he dated British actress Nadia Parkes during quarantine, but their reasons for breaking up also remain unclear.
Everyone has to go through a few to get to “the one.” Unless you’re high school sweethearts, which in that case, please give us a tutorial! In July 2021, paparazzi captured Tom and Zendaya kissing in a car in LA, sparking debates if their relationship was legit. Truly, the rest is history. 2024 was a big year for Zendaya in particular, with the release of her movies “Dune: Part Two” and “Challengers” which had her attending premieres left and right. Even though she was incredibly busy, Holland was there through it all. The pair even shared a kiss at the London premiere of “Challengers.” What a supportive boyfriend! What can he not do? Then of course, on January 5, 2025, Zendaya was seen at the Golden Globes in a beautiful burnt orange gown with a stunning ring to top it off. What a way to start the year!
